Mitan Tower

Project

Located in Erbil, Iraq, Mitan Tower is a landmark mixed-use development centred on a 370 m observation tower integrated with three 22-storey tower buildings above a shared podium. The scheme combines hospitality, residential, office, retail, and public observation facilities, creating a new civic destination while establishing a prominent addition to the city's skyline.

My Role

As part of the concept design team, I contributed to the early design development of the project, undertaking residential test-fit studies, fire escape and podium layout investigations, masterplan coordination, landscape updates, and tower core optimisation studies. I also participated in project reviews with Santiago Calatrava, supporting the refinement of the overall tower scheme.
