Project

Media City is a 2.8 million m² mixed-use masterplan located on the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Awarded first place in an international design competition, the proposal creates a new urban district centred on media, business, residential, retail, and public spaces. The masterplan integrates sustainable planning principles, multimodal transport, extensive public realm, and landscape strategies to establish a vibrant destination for living, working, and leisure.

My Role

As part of the competition design team, I collaborated closely with the senior urban designer to develop architectural and landscape concepts for key areas of the masterplan. My responsibilities included urban design studies, analytical and explanatory diagrams, and the development of planning strategies supporting the overall vision of the winning proposal.
